To domesticate an elephant was a symbol of great symbol, as his name. Elephant Suleiman was named after the biggest enemy of the Austro Hungarian Empire. Bringing an Elephant into Ljubljana was an event for all citizens; no one saw the animal before. Its name symbolically stayed with the hotel and is still now recognised after the elephant.
