The Hotel Palace was one of the three places to be on the Adriatic Coast during the Austro-Hungarian Empire alongside Opatija and Grado. Opened in 1910 the Hotel is still now vivid Part of Portoroz as the main pillar of the resort destination. The hotel was immediately proclaimed a cultural site and still today remains an evidence of the rich past and aristocratic times of Portoroz seaside resort. Currently is the best luxury hotel in Slovenia as an active member of the Kempinski Brand. The design throughout the hotel represents the Austro-Hungrian heritage with a fusion of modern design. Given the size of the hotel property it gives the feeling of a private experience.
The rooms are divided to modern and vintage part, different in the design and equipment. Sometimes the park rooms are a safer choice as they are turned away from the bustling street, but without sea view.
