Request: Our client sought an unforgettable evening event for a high-end incentive group – something intimate, elegant, and deeply rooted in local heritage. The setting needed to inspire connection, reflect the authenticity of the Slovenian coast, and offer guests a sensory journey through its history, cuisine, and culture.
Atlas Express selected Villa Tartini, a historic residence in the heart of Piran, overlooking the shimmering Adriatic. As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests were welcomed with sparkling Rebula and local canapés, the air carrying the scents of jasmine and sea salt.
Dinner unfolded in the villa’s private courtyard beneath a canopy of stars, with candlelit tables adorned in seasonal blooms. Each course showcased Istrian flavors – freshly caught sea bass with estate-produced olive oil, handmade fuži pasta with truffle cream – paired with boutique Slovenian wines.
An intimate live performance by local musicians celebrated the legacy of Giuseppe Tartini, Piran’s most famous composer, weaving history and artistry into the evening’s fabric. By partnering with regional farmers, winemakers, and artists, the event not only delighted the guests but also directly supported the local community and preserved cultural traditions.
Future:
For future editions, Atlas Express envisions adding elements to further enhance the sensory and cultural immersion:
Interactive cooking station where guests can learn to prepare a traditional Istrian dish alongside a local chef.
Guided sunset promenade through Piran’s old town before arriving at the villa, led by a storyteller in period costume.
Projection mapping on the villa’s façade, bringing to life scenes from Piran’s maritime and musical history.
Curated artisan corner showcasing handmade ceramics, lace, and olive oil tastings for guests to take a piece of Slovenia home.
