The global meeting at sea of Azamara cruises fleet with the ships Azamara Quest, Journey, Pursuit and Onward was a historical milestone for the City of Koper and the Port of Koper. For the first time in the port history, four ships from the same cruise line were docked at the passenger terminal. The view was amazing! From the early morning meeting at sea to a professional manoeuvre into the port, performed by each Ship Master on the bridge, the day scenario happened to be unique.
To celebrate this memorable moment all officials from the four ships we invited for a Plaque Exchange Ceremony at the historical venue of Koper, the Pretorian Palace. The officials were greeted by the Mayor of Koper, Aleš Bržan, congratulating and expressing his support to the cruise industry.
