Nestled in the Alps, only 35 kilometers from Ljubljana’s airport and 55 kilometers from the capital city, we find one of Slovenia’s best kept secrets, and one of nature’s most magnificent works of art, Lake Bled. A visit to Slovenia will not be complete without a visit to Lake Bled.
Spectacular views emerge from every point along the lakes rim. Whether exploring on foot, bicycle or by boat, there is something to delight your senses and your imagination. The lake has everything one could ask for in a storybook setting: a castle perched high on a hill; a secluded island crowned with the Church of the Assumption, housing the enchanted Wishing Bell; a 6 kilometer walking/biking path bringing you full circle round the Lake; secluded swimming spots; and the famous Cremeschnitte – a tasty Cream Cake exclusive to the Lake.
The activities for an attractive incentive program at Lake Bled are diverse and do include a bit of everything; tradition, culture, gastronomy and sport. On the arrival day the group should be greeted at the Bled Island, with the unique pletna boat sail. Once at the island the sparkling wine reception opens the view to much more that will follow in the next days. A spectacular day starts early in the morning, when the group is taken for a hot air balloon flight, that overlooks the marvellous lake. Upon descend the group can enjoy the breakfast and some time at leisure at the wonderful Welness at Rikli Balance Hotel.
Next stop are outdoor activities in the afternoon at Lake Bohinj, where the participants can choose between the activities such as: rafting, canoe, kayak, sup or hiking the mountain peaks and enjoying a meditation class with yoga in the woods.
The outdoor activities are organised by a professional outdoor agency. The perfect season for offering programs at Lake Bohinj, is between May and October. Once the year flips around, winter and snow related outdoor activities can be included in the program.
